During January and February we have tried to reach most of our current clients to offer them an annual design review. This informal chat was designed to look forward through 2009 and highlight potential opportunities for our clients to get in front of their consumer base. Then plan for its implementation, taking into account printer/publisher timings, companion printing (where several jobs can be printed at the same time on the same sheet of paper), required photo shoots (ensuring images are taken at the correct time of year and in time for the required publication), design time and budgetary constraints. In so doing not only is the project produced on time and at a reduced cost, but more thought can be given to targeting and brand building, without the last minute hassle of suddenly deadlines.
Take up on the new service has been good. Jonathan Statham of Aawen said, "For some years Aawen has been striving to become more proactive rather than reactive, as the benefits extend both ways.
