St Piran Dental Practice brush up
on their Marketing.

A year on from commissioning Aawen to rebrand their business, St Piran Dental Practice returned to see if Aawen could brush up their present marketing material. With a multitude of services and products ranging from standard dentistry to advanced orthodontics they needed to appeal to both the person on the street seeking treatment and the high street dentist looking to make that crucial referral.

With the need to tailor each package they sent out, we decided that a folder with a selection of inserts would be the best route for them to take, allowing only the most relevant information to be placed within a consistently branded holder. This was a must when the man on the street would not want to see the background technical detail involved in some procedures, whilst the practicing dentist would require this information to make a decision. It was also decided that by creating the package at A5 the final folders would be easier to deliver.

When approaching this project Aawen needed to ensure that the final design would sit cohesively with the established brand, pervade a highly professional approach, be clear and concise, and give an impression of a modern and forward thinking practice.

The main focus for the successful design was to incorporate the sweep developed in the brand previously, to frame and add identity to each insert. It also added a new dimension to the standard rectangular nature of an A5 sheet, by curving the perceived appearance into a more elliptical shape. An extensive use of open white space was also given to both the images and text to allow ease of reading and an overall calm and professional ora.

Jonathan Statham, Aawens Creative Directors said, "I was really pleased by the way the final pages shaped up. They make a truly individual, informative and elegant set of inserts, which when combine with the folder create a multitude of individual marketing packages that the practice can send out to its present and future clientele."

The Practice owner, Chris McConnell has since been in touch and said, "We were really looking forward to the arrival of our new patient welcome packs and thanks to the great design from Jon we were not disappointed. Since starting to use the packs, many people have commented on their lovely presentation. The welcome packs reflect the professional manner and caring attitude of our business and have helped us secure more new patients since their launch."
