New Brand for Optima

Mike Casey the personal training specialist has rebranded as Optima and the design team at Aawen have helped develop the new look for his Truro based operation. Our primary objective was to create a welcoming and inclusive logo that is both descriptive of the service offered as well as being appealing to a modern discerning audience. Initially the logo will be used on company stationery and a new website (due for launch soon), but we needed the design to be flexible enough to work on any future marketing literature and advertsing.

Seeds of Success

Despite the doom-and-gloom surrounding the "credit crunch", at Aawen Design Studio we believe that 2009 has the potential to be a fantastic year for Cornwall. Our local economy has always been energetic which has allowed our entrepreneurial spirit to succeed through difficult times before. When those around are slowing down or waiting to see what happens next, there are great opportunities to be found. Once it was common for businesses to cut investment in advertising and marketing during an economic downturn, but statistics from the last two recessions showed that those businesses that continued or increased their investments, not only had a greater rate of survival, but were much better placed to push onward to greater success once the recession ended.

Cornwall is of course unfortunately going to loose some more businesses in 2009, but we have to ensure that as well as planning for "the worst case" lets not forget to plan for success and prosperity - after all we already know that with Convergence Funding around the corner, Cornwall has a great economic boon to look forward to.

Businesses need to trade to survive. You may have the best product or

service around, but if potential customers don't know about it, how can they buy from you? You don't have to spend lots to make a difference, you just have to spend wisely. Creative design solutions that are well targeted will maximise your marketing investment. An attractive website that engages with your customers and encourages them to purchase is one great way to reach lots of people cost effectively. Aawen looks to future growth in 2010

Off the ground all year round

Now that you are all looking through the Aawen designed, Cornwall Air Ambulance 2010 calendar and planning your year ahead, perhaps you could pencil in some dates for you check out some of the Charities events this year?
