Based at Penstraze Business Centre, on the outskirts of Truro, Aawen strive to provide effective graphic design solutions for our clients. A Scilly Moment
Aawen Designs Jonathan Statham put down his pen and picked up an oar in order to row at this years Gig World Championships in the Isles of Scilly. The event took teams from all over Cornwall, Devon and Somerset, as well as teams from as far away as Ireland, America, Norway and the Faro Islands.
He is one of the many business people in the County who enjoys keeping healthy and enjoying Cornwalls rich enviroment whilst, supporting an ancient and proud local sport. "It was a great time to re-centre and blow the cobwebs away" said Jonathan, "I was able to concentrate on the races as well as pitching myself against the other crews and the sea, then return to Aawen feeling refreshed and bursting with creative energy. The weekend restablishes why I made Cornwall my home, as well as enabling me to talk to both present and potential clients in a relaxed social setting."

A change is as good as a rest
In an industry where creating the right image is everything, Aawen has revamped and refurbished its office, "We now have a very stylish informal meeting area where we hold both staff and client meetings. We felt that we wanted an area to talk to our clients which reflected the nature of the company and also made our clients feel more comfortable" said Jon Statham, one of the company's directors. This is just one example of the measures Aawen regularly undertakes in order to maintain a fresh approach to conducting their business.
